AIMZ and Dalux
Changes that arise on the job site are registered where they happen – in Dalux. AIMZ fetches them with description, attachments and status, and adds an amount and a deadline. That way the change is both documented on site and counted in the forecast.

From a case in Dalux to a claim in the forecast
The job site keeps working in Dalux as before. AIMZ adds the financial layer on top, so a case documented on site also gets an amount, a deadline and a status in change-order handling.

The Dalux project is connected to the project in AIMZ with read-only access. Access can be revoked at any time.

You decide which case types in Dalux should become change orders in AIMZ. Everything else stays where it is.

About Dalux

Dalux is a Nordic platform for job-site and project documentation, with drawings, BIM models, non-conformances, checklists and tasks – used widely by builders, contractors and consultants. The cases registered out in Dalux are often the same ones that later become a change claim, and that's exactly where AIMZ connects.

Do we have to stop using Dalux?
No, quite the opposite. The job site keeps working in Dalux, and it's the point that the documentation stays there. AIMZ fetches the case and adds the financial layer – amount, deadline and effect on the result.
Do all non-conformances in Dalux become change claims?
No. You choose which case types carry over. A defect that should be remedied within the contract is not a change claim, and shouldn't be treated as one.
What about photos and drawings?
They aren't copied. AIMZ references the case in Dalux, so the documentation has one location and one version. That's also what holds up in a dispute or a final settlement.
Why does the registration date matter?
Because the notice deadlines in NS 8405 and NS 8407 run from when the matter was discovered. When the date comes from Dalux, it's documented on site and not set after the fact.
