Integration
Accounting system and ERP
AIMZ and Microsoft Dynamics 365
Connect Microsoft Dynamics 365 to AIMZ and the ledger, supplier invoices and dimensions are fetched automatically. The project economy is followed up in AIMZ, while the ERP system remains the source of truth.
How it works
From a voucher in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to a forecast in AIMZ
The connection is set up once. After that the data flows by itself. You keep working in Microsoft Dynamics 365 as before, and AIMZ keeps the project economy up to date.
- 1
Connect
Access is set up with an integration user with read-only rights. We help with the setup together with your Dynamics partner.
- 2
Map the chart of accounts
Accounts in Microsoft Dynamics 365 are mapped to AIMZ's chart of accounts. Done once, and applies to every project in the company.
- 3
Let it run itself
New vouchers and supplier invoices are fetched automatically. AI suggests which contract or change order each one belongs to, and you approve it.
What syncs

Does AIMZ replace Microsoft Dynamics 365?
No. Microsoft Dynamics 365 remains your accounting and ERP system, and AIMZ never changes anything in it. AIMZ reads the data and adds the project economy on top: budget, forecast, change orders and portfolio.
Do we have to register costs twice?
No. Costs are registered once, in Microsoft Dynamics 365. AIMZ fetches them and suggests which cost item, contract or change order they belong to, so you approve instead of re-keying.
How long does setup take?
The connection itself takes little time. What takes a bit of work is mapping the chart of accounts in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to AIMZ's chart of accounts – done once per company, and we do it together with you.
Can we use AIMZ across several companies in Microsoft Dynamics 365?
Yes. Several companies or clients can be connected to the same AIMZ installation, with separate access per company and consolidation across the portfolio.
